Kamala Harris kicked off her presidential campaign with full force and she doesn’t plan to slow down anytime soon.

With a determination that knows no bounds, Harris has managed to raise a staggering $200 million and enlist an impressive army of 170,000 volunteers in just the first week of her campaign. That’s right!

Rob Flaherty, Harris’ deputy campaign manager, took to the virtual stage to share the exciting news. In a post on X, he exclaimed, “There’s 100 days till Election Day, so here’s a fun one: In the week since we got started, @KamalaHarris has raised $200 million dollars.” Flaherty further revealed that a remarkable 66% of these funds came from new donors, showcasing the broad appeal of Harris’ message. Additionally, the campaign has seen a surge of enthusiasm, with 170,000 fresh faces stepping up to volunteer their time and efforts. Flaherty summed it up perfectly, stating, “A people-powered campaign for a people-powered presidency!”

These impressive fundraising numbers add to the already substantial $95 million that Harris inherited from the Biden campaign. However, not everyone is thrilled about this transfer of funds.

As we previously reported, Donald Trump, never one to shy away from controversy, has already went ahead and filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission, claiming that Harris should not have been allowed to take over the funds.

Harris’ monumental success comes just a week ago, President Joe Biden made the surprising announcement that he was dropping out of the presidential race. In a move that shocked many, he threw his support behind Harris as the Democratic Party nominee.

It didn’t take long for Harris to capitalize on this endorsement. By the very next day, she had already secured enough delegate endorsements to clinch the Democratic nomination for president.

As Kamala Harris continues to forge ahead, one thing is certain: she is a force to be reckoned with. It seems that the momentum is firmly on Harris’ side, propelling her forward in her quest for the highest office in the land.
