MAGA Supporters Reportedly Moving To Russia, Says It Feels Like America In The 1950s

MAGA voters say they are relocating to Russia, claiming that the country is a more “positive vision of 1950s America” and are reportedly drawn to its Christian values, beautiful women, and scenery.

Some of these supporters said they had lost faith in Donald Trump and have most as far east as Siberia and expressed admiration for Vladimir Putin and believed his narrative justifying the invasion of Ukraine. Peter Frohwein,62, explained that he moved from Atlanta to Yalta in July 2023 and hoped to start a family there, nothing that “twenty percent of the women who could be supermodels.” He claims his future children will speak English, Russian, and Mandarin. “I wouldn’t seriously consider starting a family in the U.S. today. The U.S. is a political mess. Socially, things are a mess. Spiritually, things are a mess,” he continued. Another MAGA supporter, Joseph Rose,49, and his wife moved from Tallahassee, Florida with their children.

Their journey was documented on a YouTube channel about their new lives in Moscow. “I often say it feels like our positive vision of 1950s America,” Rose explained. An anonymous father-of-six claims Russia has a simpler life for children than America: “People are running around in America wondering why we have so many problems with suicide and depression… the reality is children are not allowed to be children,” the father-of-six said.

The tensions between the White House and Russia continue to increase due to the detention of American journalist Evan Gershkovish on espionage charges, which he and his employee, along with the US government, deny. The journalist was the first to be arrested on spying charges in Russia since the Cold War when the Federal Security Service detained him on March 29 last year, as reported by the Daily Mail.

However, not all expats have found their transition to Russia smooth. The Feenstra family moved from Canada to Russia in January to “escape LGBTQ ideology,” but a Russian bank froze their funds as “suspicious.” Despite difficulties, MAGA voters like Frohwein, Ratsch, and Rose have expressed unwavering admiration for Putin and support his narrative over the invasion of Ukraine.
