Madonna has been forced to cancel more shows, but this time it was because of the coronavirus!

According to Live Nation, shows scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday were called off after France banned gatherings of more than 1,000 people on Sunday amidst the coronavirus panic.

As we reported, Madonna had already cancelled numerous other shows due to her personal health and injuries that she was suffering from.

More and more artists have been forced to cancel gigs in fear that a gathering of a large amount of people will dramatically increase the spread of the virus. Just recently we reported that SXSW cancelled their annual festival for the first time in 34 years!

They released a statement in regards to the cancellation, “The show must go on’ is in our DNA, and this is the first time in 34 years that the March event will not take place. We are committed to do our part to help protect our staff, attendees, and fellow Austinites.”

“We are exploring options to reschedule the event and are working to provide a virtual SXSW online experience as soon as possible for 2020 participants.”

Other artists who have been forced to postpone or cancel shows include Mariah Carey, Green Day, Avril Lavigne and more!
