Viola Davis has her own barbie doll! This week Mattel unveiled a stunning collection of Role Model Dolls, each representing a powerhouse in their respective fields. The iconic toy company’s latest lineup includes several well-respected women included the EGOT winner!
To mark the momentous occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8 and Barbie’s 65th birthday on March 9, Mattel announced the introduction of new dolls inspired by Davis, Dame Helen Mirren, Shania Twain, Kylie Minogue, and four other notable women. These one-of-a-kind dolls were not made available for sale but were specially crafted to honor the remarkable achievements and contributions of these extraordinary women.
Speaking on this super sweet honor, Davis said, she “wanted this Barbie to make little 6-year-old Viola squeal. “It is my biggest gift to her…my lifelong mission and legacy to make her feel pretty, seen, and worthy.”

Previous Barbies in this collection include producer tennis star Naomi Osaka, Shonda Rhimes, YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki, singer Celia Cruz, and skateboarder Sky Brown.
