An online video showed a Louisiana woman screaming for her life after her boyfriend reportedly pushed her into a lake as a “prank.”

In a TikTok video titled “He know he wrong for that,” the woman crawls out of the lake drenched in water. Her boyfriend says to her, “C’mon now, I got you now.” In response, the woman screams, ” You pushed me in the f****ing water,” and coughs as she tries to catch her breath. He tells her she’s overreacting because she didn’t go that far in the water, calls her a crybaby, and says it’s “not that bad.” According to commentators, the incident occurred at Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans and said swimming is prohibited due to the strong currents.

The unidentified woman walks away from the camera and tells him to stay away from her, and the man tells her that he would’ve saved her with a rope if he had seen her in the water. She continued to scream, “I could’ve died!!” He said in response, “From water? You see, fishes will swim in the-I mean if the water was bad, that wouldn’t be there.”

She tells her boyfriend to get away from her and says the push was not a prank as he tries to convince her to calm down. The woman continues to exclaim that she wants him to leave her alone and that she doesn’t want anything to do with him.
Both parts of the videos had over 3 million views, but the identities of the man and woman are currently unknown.
Social media reacted to the video and says charges must be filed against the man for pushing his girlfriend.
After the video made its rounds on TikTok and Twitter, many agreed that the man should’ve been arrested for pushing the woman into the lake. However, others believed the situation wasn’t a big deal and focused more on how she spent $1,000 on her hair.
