Lisa Vanderpump Says Stassi Schroeder’s Racist Actions That Led To Her ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Firing Wasn’t ‘Racist,’ But ‘Stupid’

Lisa Vanderpump claims ‘Vanderpump Rules‘ star Stassi Schroeder‘s firing wasn’t “racist,” but “stupid.” Back in June 2020, Schroeder was fired alongside Kristen Doute for racist actions.

Schroeder and Doute were ultimately let go after falsely reporting their Black costar Faith Stowers to the police in 2018 for a crime she didn’t commit. Schroeder has since spoken out on the incident and her past racist remarks, claiming, “I have grown significantly from the person I was then, and I am still filled with remorse and regret for the hurt I caused.”

Now, Vanderpump is defending her former employee, telling The Skinny Confidential’s Him & Her podcast, “It wasn’t right what they did at all, but do I think they’re racist? 1,000 percent not. Because I have a lot of diverse people working for me that they’ve all been working very close to for many years.” The 60-year-old entrepreneur and TV star reiterates, “Do I think it was a racist action? Not at all. I just think it was awful timing, and stupid and ignorant.”
