Lisa Marie Presley died on Thursday after suffering two cardiac arrests. and her family says she was in an induced coma plus was on life support.

Presley was reportedly brain-dead after suffering from cardiac arrest for the second time. Her family explained to TMZ, that they signed a ‘do not resuscitate’ in the case, and she flatlined again. As previously reported, Presley was found unresponsive in her home by her housekeeper, and her ex-husband, Danny Keough, performed CPR before EMTs arrived at the scene. Doctors placed her on life support and an induced coma.
However, Lisa Marie went into cardiac arrest for the second time and her family ordered doctors not to resuscitate her. The singer and songwriter were brain-dead by that time but it was unclear how long she went without oxygen before she was found in her home.

Got home late from seeing a show to hear the tragic news about Lisa Marie Presley. I had only met her a few times briefly. But I have to admit I felt a kinship with her. Not many people know what it’s like. I know she was a special person. My heart aches for Priscilla.
