Lil Wayne’s Alleged Tour Bus Shooter Is Released From Jail: ‘I’m Free’
After copping a plea in the 2015 incident, Jimmy Winfrey, Lil Wayne‘s alleged tour bus shooter, has been released from jail. Winfrey went on Instagram to confirm his release with a photo of himself standing on the steps of a private jet, captioning the pic, “IM FREE DEATHB4DISHONOR $LATTMAFIA BIZNE$$ 4EVERYOUNG GOATFREE BANKROLLMAFIA Y$L.”
XXL confirms they spoke with Winfrey’s lawyer, Steven Sadow, who said his client was released on November 6. “He was released from his Georgia sentence in August but was transferred to Florida on a probation violation case. That Florida probation violation case was just resolved and he is now released from jail.”

In addition to his own IG post, Winfrey, who is also known as “Peewee AKA Roscoe,” was also welcomed home with a post by Young Thug, who reportedly employed him as his tour manager in the past. On Thug’s account, he posted a video of Winfrey, captioning the video, “@peeweeakaroscoe welcome!!”
