LSU is one of the biggest trending topics after taking home the title, but they are also trending after the media attempted to portray their key player, Angel Reese as a player with “no class.”
As we previously reported, Reese began trending when she taunted her opponent Caitlin Clark by mimicking Clark’s “You Can’t See Me” tease. Reese shook her hand in front of her own face, before pointing to her own ring finger. Amid going viral for the incident, Reese and her teammates would go on to beat Iowa, 102-85, and make history at LSU, by winning their first national championship.
Despite the win, Reese was still being called out for her taunting, even though Clark was the first to do the motion days before. During Friday night’s (March 31) national semifinal game, Clark waved off a Louisville player.
