Lil TJay is slowly recovering after being shot in New Jersey last week. A source close to the rapper spoke with @tmz_tv to give updates on his condition.
It was said that the entertainer is awake and alert, and even speaking on his own. Sources also shared that doctors have since removed his breathing tube, and when speaking, his voice sounds just like it did before the scary incident. Now that he’s able to communicate, cops can finally speak with him about the details surrounding the shooting.
This is great news not only for Tjay but for his fans who came across conflicting and scary reports about the rapper’s condition. One report stated that he was in a deep coma and would be paralyzed for the rest of his life. While details about his mobility have yet to be shared, it’s good to hear that he is doing better.

As we reported, Tjay was shot on June 22 incident. Cops say the whole thing happened after a man allegedly tried to rob Lil Tjay. The shooter has since been identified as he’s since been arrested. Konate has been charged with three counts of first-degree attempted murder. The two men who were with Tjay were also arrested for second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon. 3 men in total have been arrested for the shooting.
