Lil Scrappy is the latest Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta star to react to the franchise giving Erica Mena the boot over her comments about Spice.

In case you missed it, Mena has been receiving tons of backlash since the latest episode aired. During a scene, she gets into a heated argument with Spice and ends up calling her a “blue monkey.” Almost instantly she faced a wave of heavy criticism with many people calling for her to be kicked off the show. LHH heard what the viewers had to say and announced that she would not be rejoining the cast for the next season. Love and Hip-Hop said in a Saturday statement: “The Love & Hip Hop franchise has never shied away from hard conversations in our community. Working hand-in-hand with our partners, viewers will see the impact of Erica Mena’s remarks play out in the final three episodes of the season. Effective immediately, she will not appear in the next season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.”

Scrappy caught wind of the news while waiting to board his flight. In an Instagram Live, he said he didn’t know if the news was true or not but felt like it was a “bozo” move since Love and Hip-Hop “sets sh*t up.” He continued, “They set you up, get you all hyped up, have somebody talk shit to you, and then you react, then they want to fire you.”

Scrappy went on to make it clear that he’s not team Erica but doesn’t agree with how LHH handled this situation. “I don’t fuck with Erica at all. Like at all. But you know… if you put me in a position where a n*gga talking about my kids and all that, we f*cking fighting. I’m ain’t throwing no tables, we finna fight. They can fire me. They know that. Ima still be me.”

More On What Happened

Mena and Spice got into an intense argument that almost turned physical following a conversation about Safaree Samuels. During their conversation, Spice told Mena that her teen son does not like her. That’s when Mena hit back flipping a table on the Jamaican artist, and even wished her death. Right after she called her a racial slur.

“That bi**h should’ve died!” screamed Mena referring to Spice’s near-death health scare last year. In response, Spice yelled, “Your son hates you, bi**h!,” to which Mena replied, “You monkey, you f**king blue monkey!”

In Spice’s defense, she posted receipts where Mena talked about other cast members’ kids.

“Kids are off limits right??????? But I guess it’s only when I ask cause where’s the same energy when Scrappy and Stevie J talked about it,” Spice wrote, showing two separate arguments involving Mena, Lil Scrappy, and Stevie J. “But now I’m a Monkey and should have died on the table? Ok, Erica.”

Now that show has come out and Mena has been booted from the show, social media users have been left divided about it all. #Socialites, how do you feel? Sound off in the comment box below!
