While fans are sending love and positive messages to Nia Long amid news about her fiancé Ime Udoka, Lil Duval is betting on whether or not she will stay… despite his alleged cheating scandal.

Duval tweeted on Friday, “I got a stack saying Nia Long ain’t going nowhere.” Of course, social media users were quick to weigh in. On Twitter user said, “I got 5 stacks she’s leaving? Let’s make it official.” Another added, “She’s not and there shouldn’t be any pressure on her to do so. All smoke should be directed at him!!!!” A third said, “Oh boy been cheating on Nia. This not new to her. It’s new to us lol”

Now, Nia Long has since spoken out on the news regarding fiancé Ime Udoka, the head coach of the Boston Celtics, who has been embroiled in a scandal and subsequently suspended. In a statement issued to CNN on Friday, Long said, “The outpouring love and support from family, friends and the community during this difficult time means so much to me,” Long, 51, said. “I ask that my privacy be respected as I process the recent events. Above all, I am a mother and will continue to focus on my children.”

As we previously reported, Celtics coach Ime Udoka was suspended by the organization for the entirety of the 2022–23 season on Thursday night for violating franchise rules. It came came in wake of a report about his involvement in an “improper” consensual relationship with a female member of the team’s staff.

“A decision about his future with the Celtics beyond this season will be made at a later date,” the Celtics said in a statement. “The suspension takes effect immediately.”

Udoka, 45, who shares a 10-year-old son with Long and have been engaged since 2015, also released a statement to ESPN saying,

“I want to apologize to our players, fans, the entire Celtics organization, and my family for letting them down,” Udoka said. “I am sorry for putting the team in this difficult situation, and I accept the team’s decision. Out of respect for everyone involved, I will have no further comment.”
