Durk released a statement to TMZ saying,  “My fans mean everything to me, you’re the reason why I do this. I was looking forward to touching all of my European fans, performing this week(end), attending the ESPYs and more but after performing and traveling daily I’ve become severely dehydrated and advised by my doctors not to travel due to exhaustion. Once I get my full energy back, it’s back to business which I’m looking forward to. #StillHealing.”

As we previously reported, Durk was sidelined by health issues in July 2022 after an explosive hit him in the face while he was performing at Lollapalooza in his hometown. Lil Durk managed to finish that show before taking a break to get back up to speed. “Due to the incident that happened at Lollapalooza in Chicago on stage, I’ma take a break and focus on my health,” he wrote on Instagram after that incident.

In the video, Durk was seen walking across the stage before being struck directly in the face by the blast. The music then cuts off as the rapper takes a few steps backward and covers his face with his white T-shirt. “Woah, you alright, bro?” his DJ can be heard asking as the rapper stumbled and wiped his eyes. “That one came a little close. That didn’t look like it shot straight up. That looked like it shot in a different direction.”
