‘LHH’ Star Prince Shares Why He Finds It ‘Hard As A Straight Man To Show More Or Extra Love To The LGBTQ Community’: “A LARGE Portion Is MESSY”

Just a day after Ray J spoke out in support of the LGBTQ community and encouraged more straight men to show love to gay people, fellow “Love & Hip-Hop” star Prince is now speaking out and explaining why he finds it a bit difficult to do so.

In a series of IG Story posts, Prince shares that, “In my experience as a Black man – if you don’t walk, talk, dress, move, speak or act a certain way, you’re gay. Anything from the octave level of your voice to the company you keep, you’re friends with LGBTQ members, then you’re gay; you’re not friends you’re a homophobe or DL. You say you’re not gay they tell you you’re lying.” He added, “You support gay people & or events; you’re gay. Hang out with too many men, you’re gay. Hang out with too many women you’re gay. Say you’re not gay or bi or whatever label you wanna put or even defend yourself then you’re gay. I’ve been friends with pimps, prostitutes, drug dealers, doctors, athletes: All people I hang around. But they won’t say I’m any of those. I was on tv with TWO b*tches but won’t say I’m a player. Yet they’d rather believe the conspiracy theory. Every day I get attacked just for being ME.”

He went on to say, “So it makes it hard as a straight man to show more or extra love to LGBTQ members because a LARGE portion is MESSY, hate themselves, struggling with who they are in this world & wanna tear others down Make them feel how they feel. Or some can’t wrap their head around the fact that a heterosexual can be friends with a homosexual Not to mention 90% of gay males think or feel they can ‘turn’ a straight guy.”

Prince then shared screenshots trying to prove his point about how harsh people can be, especially to him. He reposted comments that were left under our original story with Ray J where people tagged Prince; telling him to “come out as gay.”

“The community so f*cked up & messy
– that let an LGBTQ member defend me, speak up on my behalf or say how I’m a good person, good heart etc ANYTHING. ‘Oh that man either wants to f*ck Prince, get close to him, has been f*cked by him etc etc.’ There HAS to
be an ulterior motive, it’s just NO Way. Messy, messy messy. On ALL levels. Every homosexual male I ever met is MESSY. But some are funnier than other, or cooler or won’t be messy to YOU … so how can it change or will it ever?”
