NFL free agent Le’Veon Bell is opening up about trying to break in the music game for the last 10 years and revealed how he paid MoneyBaggYo and Stunna4Vegas for a verse and never released the songs because he feels like they sent him back “bull.”

Bell went on Twitter yesterday and shared a few words about his encounter with the 2 rappers. “Moneybagg & Stunna4Vegas, I paid both for .. decided not to drop these tracks with these guys because honestly, I didn’t like their verses .. I feel like they just went in the booth and recorded something as fast as they could to get a quick couple bands .. Koudos, y’all got it”

He followed up with another tweet saying, “for me personally, unless your Drake, SZA, or Rihanna, you gotta at least TRY or I’m not about to just drop the song just because your name is attached to it …straight up 💯 so that’s why I never dropped the tracks with Moneybagg or Stunna4vegas& most likely never will 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️.” After his tweets began to surface online Bell went onto Instagram to make a video to “clear the air.”

The football star shared, “Now obviously if I’m asking these guys for a verse, collar or feature its because I like their music because I think you can rap its because I f*ck with you as an artist. There’s no there reason. So when I ask I know what you capable of. I literally know what you’re capable of doing on that track so if you send me back some bull on a song that I’m on and I don’t like the song I don’t care what your name is or who your name is, if your not Drake, Sza or Rihanna I’m not dropping it.”

Bell hasn’t played professional football since he split 2021 with the Baltimore Ravens and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Bell said in a previous tweet that Snoop Dogg was a fan of a song. He’d released on SoundCloud called “Rubberbanz.” He then agreed to do a track for Bell for free. It, along with some other tracks with artists Bell called “industry rappers”, remain unreleased for various reasons.
