Leslie Jordan’s cause of death has finally been revealed, with the L.A. County Coroner’s Office confirming the late actor had suffered from a sudden cardiac dysfunction.

The report stated that Jordan died from natural causes while listing arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease as a secondary factor to his untimely death.
The County Coroner’s Office also ruled out that drugs or alcohol could have played a part since there were no traces of either substance found in his system.

Jordan had already scheduled an appointment with his cardiologist about his issues concerning his breathing issues after telling friends he had been feeling poorly for about three weeks in the lead-up to his death. Per TMZ, Jordan had already suspected he may have had an underlying health condition but unfortunately died a week before he was expected to get his health checked out.

Fans and friends were devastated by the “American Horror Story” star’s untimely death, as many took to their social media pages to pay tribute, including Dolly Parton, who’d been a longtime friend of Jordan’s for decades.

“You left a lot of people here with a lot of precious, precious memories. Everybody loved you, but I doubt many of them loved you more than I did,” she wrote.

“I just want you to know that we all love you, we all miss you, and I bet you’re having a big laugh over all of us being sad and sorrowful. And I know that would be the last thing you would want us to be. You made us happy while you were here, and we’re happy that you’re at peace. I just want you to know that I will always love you. Goodbye, my sweet Leslie.”

Outside of his stint on “American Horror Story,” Jordan also had prominent roles in show such as “Monk,” “Call Me Kat” and “Will & Grace.”
