Leonardo DiCaprio Pledges To End ‘Disenfranchisement Of Black America’

Leonardo DiCaprio has always been involved in actively trying to make a change, and now the Oscar winning actor is doing his part to help black lives.

The world has been outraged by the death of George Floyd, an innocent black man murdered at the hands of a white Minneapolis police officer, and DiCaprio is one of them, vowing to make change.

On Thursday, the actor, shared an image on his Instagram page that read, “I commit to listen, learn and take action.” In the caption, he added, “I am dedicated to end the disenfranchisement of Black America, that has been present for too long. I will support those individuals, organizations and coalitions that are committed to bring about long-term change.”

“I will be donating personally to each of the following organizations. Please, join me, in following and learning from the organizations below.”

Many other celebrities have also taken a stand against platform by using their platforms and resources to ignite change.
