Lena Waithe & Wife Alana Mayo Split Just 2 Months After Announcing Their Marriage
Just two months ago, many of us were all excited to hear about the news of Lena Waithe and Alana Mayo tying the knot, and while we were just getting used to the lovely couple, it has just been reported that they have called it quits.

Lena and Alana, who married last year after three years of dating, issued a joint statement through PEOPLE on Wednesday saying,
“After careful thought and consideration, we have decided to part ways,” they said. “We have nothing but support for one another and ask that you respect our privacy during this time.”
The sad news comes just two months after the 35-year-old revealed on the Ellen Show that she and Alana had secretly married in San Francisco. “We snuck and did it, you know. We didn’t really make any announcements or a big … you know,” the Queen & Slim writer said.
As of right now, it unclear why the two have decided to split. In the meantime, let’s share some encouraging words to the couple as they deal with their separation.
