The Los Angeles Lakers star, pleaded for people to allow his son to be a kid in a new post to his X account. Lebron defending his son comes after ESPN made a mock draft for 2024 they left the 19-year-old freshman out of a the fake draft and had him staying at USC to finish out his college career instead of going to the NBA. According to multiple outlets, it is worth noting that out of 20 games, Lebron James’ son is averaging 5.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists after returning from his cardiac arrest incident.

“Can yall please just let the kid be a kid and enjoy college basketball,” King James said on Monday. “The work and results will ultimately do the talking no matter what he decides to do. If y’all don’t know he doesn’t care what a mock draft says, he just WORKS! Earned Not Given!”

As we previously shared, LeBron James has made his desire to play with his son Bronny before his career is over very public over the years.

In February 2022, James told The Athletic his last year “will be played with my son,” adding that he would “do whatever it takes to play with my son for one year.” James was also involved in a Beats by Dre commercial in October that featured his wife Savannah calling him to offer inspiration.
