If there’s one thing about Kim Kardashian, she clearly loves being in love. That would explain why she’s already fantasizing about getting married again, as revealed in the latest episode of Gwyneth Paltrow’s “Goop Podcast.” The Skims founder, whose divorce from ex-husband Kanye West was only finalized last month, shares that despite her past failed marriages, she’s dreamt about tying the knot for the fourth time.
“I have this fantasy in my head,” the mother-of-four revealed, insisting that “fourth time’s a charm. It’s going to work out.” For those who don’t know, Kim was first married to record label executive Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2004 before marrying NBA star Kris Humphries in 2011. She went on to file for divorce after just 72 days of marriage.
Kim later got with Kanye West, whom she wed in 2014 until the now-exes announced they had gone their separate ways in early 2021. “I feel like honestly, my last marriage was my first real [marriage],” the TV personality continued. “The first one, I just don’t know what was happening, the second one I felt like I wanted to be married so badly because all my friends were at that place… and I didn’t accept that that just wasn’t where I was.”
But despite her hopes of getting married for a fourth (and hopefully final) time, Kim adds that she’s definitely not rushing the process, indicating that though she can see herself walking down the aisle again, she’s not being shaken by personal pressure.
“I would be OK for, like, a forever partnership as well,” she continued. “I have a lot of girlfriends that have been married, don’t like the experience of it, or the ending of it, and don’t want to go through it again.. I would want a marriage, but I’m so happy to take my time,” she said. “I really do want to be single for a few years.”
Kim’s last public relationship with former “Saturday Night Live” star Pete Davidson ended just nine months after the two started dating. Since then, it appears the reality star truly has stuck to her word by not rushing into anything that simply didn’t make sense to her, taking into consideration that she’s a mother of four with multiple booming businesses.
