On Tuesday night (July 11), a plane full of passengers left Philadelphia International Airport on Frontier Airlines flight 2143 around 10:30 p.m. ET.
While making their way to Sin City, Nevada, with a scheduled landing for 8:40 p.m. PT, the plane instead arrived nearly an hour late because the pilot had to deviate to Denver, after two female passengers, who were said to be traveling together, got into it in the cabin.

A Las Vegas resident who was headed home from a vacation, captured the whole fight on video. The woman, who requested to not be identified, said things began when the two women started loudly arguing with each other.
A flight attendant soon approached the ladies, begging them to cease yelling, but to no avail. After three attempts to quell the feud, the flight attendant moved one of the woman to a different seat.
The Las Vegas resident filming the whole ordeal said that despite being separated, both women continued to verbally fight in the cabin, cussing each other out louder and louder. The passenger also that one of the women even hit a male passenger on, or near, the head as she walked to a bathroom.
Speaking with 8 News Now, the woman said, “It was fairly disruptive so passengers began to tell them to shut up because their behavior was escalating.” Failing to keep the women quiet and calm, the pilot ended up deviating from their Las Vegas path, and stopping in Denver, so the women could be removed from the plane.

Some of the passengers who witnessed the fight, gave police in Denver their statements, and even claimed that local police had contacted the FBI about the fight. Per the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), since the surge in travel following the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic, there has also been a surge in wild and unruly passengers.
The increased unruliness is forcing the FAA to create stricter consequences for violators, like them facing criminal prosecution and charges.

I was on a Frontier flight to Dallas from Orlando when an African American lady allowed her child to repeatedly bang the food tray with her hands and legs. After a long period of time, we discovered that the child was making this annoying noise. I asked the mom if she could have her child stop the banging (I was in the row in front of them) but she ignored this request. I then asked her again. This time the lady blew up responding that she would not stop her child because it would cause the 2 year old to begin to cry. She rambled on and on in an aggressive manner, seemingly ready to fight. I contacted the flight attendant who stated that everyone had heard the lady’s outburst. As I was in fear for my safety, I asked to be moved although there was no room for change but was told to immediately ring for assistance if the lady continued her aggressive behavior.
