LAPD Chief Claims PnB Rock Was Targeted With Social Media Posts That He & His Girlfriend Both Shared

Upon the news breaking of the Philadelphia rapper’s murder, social media users quickly noted how PnB Rock’s girlfriend,  Stephanie Sibounheuang, had uploaded a picture of her meal inside of the Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles location on Manchester Avenue in South Central, Los Angeles, California.

They also noted that in addition to sharing a picture of the infamous platter, she also geotagged the location.

Subsequently, many people on social media began to bully the young woman for “dry-snitching” and sharing her rapper boyfriend’s location.

However, others came to her defense, listing several other reasons as to how the rapper was targeted.

Now, LAPD Chief Michel Moore is speaking out on how the rapper was pinpointed. According to Chief Moore, he is now confirming that PnB Rock was indeed targeted.

Chief Moore added that investigators believe two Instagram posts led suspect(s) to PnB Rock’s location in South Central, LA, CA. Chief Moore says the rapper and his girlfriend each made posts while at the restaurant.

Apparently, PnB Rock made a post while sitting in a Cadillac Escalade behind the restaurant, when they first pulled up. And a second post was then shared by Stephanie while the two were seated at their table inside the establish on Monday (Sept. 12).

According to LAPD officials, on the day of the murder, a masked African American gunman confronted the rapper in attempt to steal his jewelry. Things went left and the rapper was shot several times.

Bystanders, including restaurant employees tried to help the rapper, who was eventually rushed to a nearby  hospital and later pronounced dead.

Reportedly, there will be a reward for any information on the suspect(s) involved in the rapper’s murder.

After the shooting, the gunman is said to have hopped in a getaway car and fled the scene. Sadly, LAPD officials say they have no leads on which direction the car went; and as of Monday night, a description of the suspected vehicle has not been released.
