Landlord Kills 2 Women, Injures Man Over Late Rent Dispute
According to Las Vegas police, a landlord was arguing with his tenants over unpaid rent. Then the landlord opened fire on three people. Two women were pronounced dead and a man was shot nine times, but he survived.

Arnoldo Lozano-Sanchez, 78 year old man surrendered to police after an one-hour standoff. When authorites arrived to the scene one woman was found dead outside the small one story home and the man that was shot nine times was coming out the door looking for help according to ABC.
Police LT. Ray Spencer stated the second woman was found dead inside the house.
As of right now the names of the two women that were killed have not been released to public, nor the injured man. But authorities did state the tenants were around the ages of 50 years old.

“We don’t know the specifics, but information from witnesses is that it’s all over money not paid for their portion of the rent,” Spencer shared in an interview.
Sanchez was booked into Clark County jail now awaiting his pending court appearnace on Wednesday for murder and attempted murder charges.
The pandemic has allowed for tenants to be a little leniant when it comes to rent because of Covid-19, but the evicition moratorium expired last week. As of right now police are trying to figure out if that was the reason rent wasn’t paid.
One of the witnesses stated she was looking out her window and seen the suspect sitting in chair in the backyard when police arrived in her words, “he’s just sitting there, calm, like nothing happened.”
