TMZreports the D.A. is overlooking the felony assault charge of a firearm a month after Megan Thee Stallion was shot in both feet as she exited an SUV with Tory Lanez. Tory was only charged with possession of a firearm and it might be possible that he will be charged with felony assault after the district attorney asked the LAPD to further investigate the shooting.
Earlier today, Megan posted then deleted a photo of her injured foot after rumors circulated that she faked the extent of her injuries. She writes, “Lol what I have learned about the majority of the people on social media is ya’ll like to hear bad news before good news, a lie spreads quicker than the truth, and ya’ll really believing the sh*t ya’ll make up…I got hit at the back of my feet because when I got shot I was WALKING AWAY FACING THE BACK. Why would I lie about getting shot?”
Megan continued to address the allegations after fans and critics noticed she started walking and dancing in several videos on Instagram:
“Why are ya’ll so upset that I don’t wanna be in the bed sad? Why ya’ll upset that I can walk? I got my stitches out my feet two weeks ago and I was ready to go celebrate WAP going number 1….I usually don’t address internet bullsh*t but y’all people are so sick! God was really watching over me and I’m healing so well! Sorry I’m not as miserable as a lot of ya’ll lol but ima keep being Megan Thee Mf STALLION.”
Her statement earlier may interfere with the D.A. charges because she didn’t indicate who shot her. However, the firearm found in the SUV belonged to Tory and he was previously charged for possession of a concealed weapon from another case.
