In a fun wide-ranging interview conducted by actress Jenner Lawrence for Kylie Jenner, the reality star talks about everything from her successful businesses to managing mommy life as a mom of two. The 26-year-old also talks about her relationships with her famous sisters and longtime family friend, Jordyn Woods.
In the middle of gushing over her greyhound dogs who remind her of her sister Kendall Jenner, Lawrence switched gears as she really wanted to know how Kylie and Jordyn Woods were able to reconnect following a scandal that ultimately ended their friendship at one point. “My last question is a little intense, but we all want to know. Obviously, there was a huge trauma many years ago, but we’ve recently seen that you are friends with Jordyn [Woods] again. How is that? How did that happen? What up?” The Hunger Games actress asked.
Kylie responded, “Jordyn and I, we always stayed in touch throughout the years and we would meet up at my house and catch up and just talk through everything. We never fully cut each other off, and one day, naturally, we were like, we want to get sushi and we don’t want to hide anymore.” As many know, Kylie and Jordyn were inseparable for almost a decade, since 2012, until 2019. They had a big falling out after they were both embroiled in a major drama between Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson. Woods was accused of hooking up with Thompsons but later clarified that they only kissed.” During Kylie’s Interview Magazine questionnaire session, the reality star went on to say,
“There’s a learning lesson in everything, and I think that in a weird way, everything happens how it’s supposed to happen. We were so attached at the hip that we needed space to grow into the people that we were supposed to be. I needed that independence and that confidence because she was like my security blanket for so long.”
Lawrence chimed back in and said, “I get that and I’m happy that you still have that in a healthier way. She was so young and she made a mistake, but those lifetime friends are very important. Jenner replied, “Yeah, I agree.”

Over the summer Kylie and Jordyn were spotted hanging in LA for the first time in years. A moment that sent social media into a frenzy. While many were shocked to see the duo together again, others were happy that they finally were able to work things through.
Meanwhile, Thompson has since apologized to Kylie and Khloe Kardashian’s family for several of his cheating scandals which ultimately ended his relationship with the Good American Founder.
During the latest episode of The Kardashians on Hulu, Tristan told the cosmetics mogul, “I think you were affected the most by a situation of losing a sister, basically. You lost Jordyn, who is a big part of your life.”
“You guys were two peas in a pod,” he continued. “So, the fact that I put myself and her in a situation that wasn’t right and wasn’t smart made it tough for you and Khloe. Because, at the end of the day, you have your best friend and then you have your sister, who you love more than anything else.”
A remorseful Thompson went on to say, “It’s 100 percent on me, but I want to say I’m sorry and I feel bad about it,” he told Kylie. “The fact that I came with my poor decisions and being a f–king idiot and just being young and stupid, I just wanted to say I’m sorry again for that.”
