After two seasons into the family’s Hulu reality show, “The Kardashians,” Kris Jenner reportedly wants to bring back the drama and have her daughters dish the dirt on their “disastrous” love lives, it’s been claimed. While fans were initially excited about the famous clan moving over to Hulu in an official announcement shared in 2020, those who’ve tuned in for seasons one and two so far have noticed how each episode is mostly centered around the family’s business and plugging their own products.
According to The Sun, Kris is now looking to spice things up for the upcoming third series of the show by having Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner open up about the problems in their love lives.
While the Hulu series has touched on bits and pieces of Kim’s divorce from Kanye West and Tristan Thompson’s cheating scandal, Kris allegedly wants Kourtney to set her sisters up on blind dates as she fears the storyline could get boring if they’re going to predominantly focus everything around work and their individual brands.
“She loved the previous two seasons of the show, but thinks if they just focus on their businesses and events while filming, it could get a bit dry,” the source said. “Kris knows that everyone is interested in finding out who the Kardashians are dating. One of the ideas she had was for her and Kourtney to set Kim and Khloe up on blind dates and matchmake Kylie with a new man.” The Kylie Cosmetics mogul is said to have recently split from her on-again, off-again boo Travis Scott, who is also the father of her two children.
While she’s generally very private about who she’s seeing, the insider added that Kris can be “pretty persuasive” and if it’s going to benefit the show, it doesn’t look as if she wouldn’t be interested to switch up the format a little and make it less about their companies and more about who’s dating who.
Kris probably wouldn’t be counting on Kourtney for drama since she’s already happily in love with her husband Travis Barker. Long gone are the days when Kourt would have heated arguments with her then-boyfriend Scott Disick, which, of course, made for great entertainment for the viewers and earned the Kardashians some of their highest ratings over on the E! Network.
