Kris Jenner has shared her thoughts on her kids having children outside of marriage, admitting that though she’s always been somewhat “old fashioned,” the momager has certainly become “more understanding” over the years. Kris appeared on a recent episode of iHeartRadio’s Martha Stewart podcast, where she recalled getting pregnant with her firstborn, Kourtney Kardashian while honeymooning with her late husband Robert Kardashian in 1978.

Martha quizzed the 66-year-old on how she felt when her daughters, in particular, were “going out and getting pregnant with men who are not their husbands,” further asking, “You’ve evolved, haven’t you?” Kris expressed that she’s had to “embrace” how society has changed compared to her younger years when having a baby before marriage was condemned.

“I’ve been through so many things in my life that hindsight is very important. Because I learned so much along the way that I knew nothing about before. I think that I do. I embrace what is in front of me. I think that I am easy once I understand it.” Kris, who is a mother of six, said she would never judge any of her children for how they choose to live their life, stressing that she would support them regardless whether they shared different opinions on things.

“They could throw anything at me, and I’m here for them. They know that. There’s nothing that I would judge. Not at all. I mean, I just never would. I get more and more understanding. I get what this generation — and I have so many generations now in my family — I guess there’s such a big age difference.”

Kris’ sitdown with Martha comes just days after her son-in-law, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker thanked her for sending him well wishes and a bouquet of flowers following his hospitalization from pancreatitis last week. The 46-year-old left fans worried amid reports he had been rushed o the hospital after experiencing stomach pain, which was later explained to have been caused by inflammation of the pancreas following a endoscopy.

The sweet note attached to the flowers read, “Dearest Travis, get well soon!!! We love you, Kris and Corey, xo.” Just days after being released from the hospital, Travis addressed his fans in a social media update as his kids had taken to Instagram earlier in the week, telling their followers to pray for their dad.

But judging by his way of words, Travis was feeling much better by the time he had hopped on IG to let it be known how he was doing. “I went in for an endoscopy Monday feeling great,” he explained. “But after dinner I developed excruciating pain and have been hospitalized ever since. During the endoscopy I had a very small polyp removed right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube. This resulted in severe, life-threatening pancreatitis.

“I am so very very grateful that with intensive treatment I am currently much better.”

Kourtney continued, “I am so grateful to God for healing my husband, for all of your prayers for him and for us, for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support. I am so touched and appreciative. I am so so thankful to our specialists, doctors and nurses at Cedars Sinai for taking such wonderful care of my husband and me during our stay.”
