Kourtney Kardashian says she’s actively trying for a baby with her beau Travis Barker, but conceiving his child has been challenging.
The doting couple went public with their relationship back in January 2021 before announcing their October engagement. And though both Kourtney and Travis are already proud parents to multiple children, they recently decided to try for another baby together.
But the Poosh founder has shared that while she and the Blink-182 drummer would “love” to become parents once more, the journey to finding herself with another bun in the oven has been “hard.”

Kourtney commented on her baby struggle during a press run for the upcoming season of The Kardashians, which premieres April 14 on Hulu. During the family’s chat with Entertainment Tonight, Kourtney briefly touched on the difficulties she has faced in trying to conceive.
“It’s a beautiful thing that we’d love to have happen, but the journey is a bit hard for any woman who went on it,” the reality star said.

Her sister Khloe Kardashian then chimed in, adding, “And emotional,” as Kourtney nodded in agreeance.
The 42-year-old is already a mother of three children: Mason, Penelope, and Reign, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick. Travis has two children: Landon and Alabama, from his four-year marriage to Shanna Moakler between 2004 to 2008. He’s also a stepdad to his ex-wife’s daughter Atiana De La Hoya.

According to Us Weekly, Kourtney and her man have been trying for a baby since sharing their engagement news with fans last year, with sources asserting that the pair are hoping to become parents again “without any doubt.”
“Ideally, Kourtney would like a natural birth,” an insider told the publication. “She’s confident it won’t be a problem because she’s always been lucky to conceive naturally and has taken great care of herself physically.”

“Certainly though, she and Travis want to bring their own child into the picture, and if she can’t conceive, they’ll look at other alternatives.”
The couple stunned fans earlier this month after appearing to have tied the knot following their joint appearance at the Grammys in Las Vegas.

But during a sit-down interview with Jimmy Kimmel on April 6, Kourtney said that she and Travis did not have a marriage license sorted before holding their low-key wedding ceremony that an Elvis Presley impersonator oversaw.
Yet, she considers the wedding to have been the real deal, telling the chat show host, “We’re not fake married. There was no possibility to get a marriage license at that hour.
“And I’m like, ‘Are you guys serious?’ We asked, like, five times. ‘What do we have to do to make this happen?’ It was 2 a.m. and they were like, ‘It opens at 8 o’clock.’”
