Kodak Black Honors Parkland Shooting Victims & Remembers Meadow Pollack With Scholarship

Kodak Black has been very charitable since his release from prison, including his recent visit to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High, on the third anniversary of the Parkland mass shooting. Kodak joined officials and loved ones of the 17 victims to honor them, He came bearing gifts.

TMZ reports that Black was specifically there for one of the victims, Meadow Pollack. Black’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen said that  Pollack’s favorite rapper was Kodak. Once Kodak became aware of that he established a $100,000 scholarship fund in Meadow’s name that will fund students attending Southeastern University Law School, where Meadow’s brother Hunter is enrolled, and they will be able to study justice reform.

“The situation is bigger than Meadow Pollack. It’s about all the other kids. It’s about the whole school. It’s about all of Broward. And I want to help,” Black said in a video shared by TMZ. “I just want to have a positive impact on this community.”

As we reported, Nikolas Cruz is currently in jail awaiting his fate. His lawyers claim that he would plead guilty in exchange for a life sentence, however, the prosecution is seeking the death penalty.

“We are dedicated to ensuring that justice is done and we are working diligently to ensure that the criminal trial begins as soon as possible,” said Broward County State Attorney Harold Pryor.
