Kodak Black Donates Books For Children Affected By The Coronavirus

Kodak Black is giving back to his community from jail by donating books and school supplies for children who are affected by the coronavirus.

According to TMZ,  Kodak’s attorney Bradford Cohen said in a statement that the rapper is sending 625 reading comprehension textbooks to children in Broward County, Florida. He plans to send supplies and notebooks for children from grades 1 to 5 so they can be prepared to meet the state’s standards for reading and math.

Florida public schools are currently closed until April 15th and the rapper is going to approximately spend $5,000 to help support his community’s educational needs.

The books and school supplies were ordered on Thursday and families should be expecting the donations within a few days. However, Kodak Black and Cohen are considering the options due to everyone practicing social distancing. He is currently serving a 46-month prison sentence for a federal gun case and is facing a 2 to7 prison sentence for pleading guilty for attempted second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
