Kiyomi Leslie Opens Up About Bow Wow Domestic Violence Incident: ‘As A Woman, Don’t Call The Police’

Appearing on Angela Yee‘s ‘Lip Service Podcast,’ Instagram model-turned-rapper Kiyomi Leslie opens up about her domestic violence incident with Bow Wow, and how she learned, “as a woman, don’t call the police.”

Back in February 2019, Kiyomi and Bow got into a physical altercation in an elevator at his apartment building. In the surveillance footage, Bow is seen grabbing for his keys from Kiyomi’s hands and roughing her up a bit. Things reportedly carried on once they stepped off the elevator, and cops were called and both arrested and charged for battery. Since, Kiyomi says they both had their charges dropped.

If we ain’t go to jail, we still would’ve been here.” When asked if she learned a lot, Kiyomi explains, “When you’re in a domestic violence situation, as a woman, don’t call the police.” Kiyomi then clarifies her sentiments, “I mean I don’t want to promote that to women, but that’s what it was for me. Because I went to jail and I called them for help.” #Socialites, thoughts?
