According to TMZ, Kim has temporarily lost primary custody of the four kids she shares with Kroy, after a judge ruled in favor of his emergency motion. Kroy now has primary physical custody, while Kim will only see the kids every other weekend for now…
Now before folks start jumping all the way to conclusions, to be clear: they still share joint legal custody. But Kroy? He’s got the final say when it comes to the big stuff, schooling, non-emergency medical decisions, and even religious upbringing.
And if you’ve been following this drama, you already know this ain’t their first custody shake-up. Just last month, Kim’s custody situation was limited too, but she got things back on track after completing court-ordered therapy.
Kroy, on his end, has been going hard trying to keep the kids with him. He recently filed docs accusing Kim of neglect, saying she’s “more selfishly concerned with her own image and her work options” than the well-being of their children. He didn’t stop there either, he called her “unstable and unfit” and pushed for an emergency hearing to switch things up ASAP.
Now Kim isn’t staying quiet about any of this.
She told TMZ, “The judge’s decision … is temporary until our return court date on May 21st when we will have the opportunity for a full hearing.”
And she made it clear she’s not backing down, adding, “While I want this process to be over for my children more than anything, I am looking forward to our court date on May 21st when we will finally be provided with an opportunity to present the truth.”
May 21 is shaping up to be a major date in this case, and you already know folks will be watching closely to see how it all plays out.
