Welp, another celebrity couple has decided to call it quits, and can’t say we didn’t see this one coming.

After 11 years of marriage, Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann have decided to end their marriage. This news comes just hours after it was revealed that the couple was accused of owing nearly $1.1 Million in taxes.

Per TMZ Kim, 44, reportedly listed April 30th as the date of separation in the documents. The Bravo star claimed the marriage is “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.” In addition to that, the Don’t Be Tardy star is reportedly seeking primary physical custody of the children as well as joint legal custody. It was also said that Kim is reportedly seeking spousal support and is expected to legally restore her maiden name.

More On Kim Zolciak

Kim and the former Atlanta Falcons NFL star first met in 2010 after crossing paths at the Dancing With Atlanta Stars charity event. They tied the knot one year later in 2011. The two — who tied the knot on Nov. 11, 2011, share four kids: Kroy Jagger, 11, Kash, 10, and 9-year-old twins Kane and Kaia. Zolciak is also mother to Brielle, 26, and Ariana Biermann, 21, who she had from a previous relationship. Kroy adopted Kim’s daughters when they were minors.

While the two appeared to be going strong, they always made headlines for their financial problems. As of late, the two have been hit with a federal tax lien accusing them of owing a 7-figure debt in back taxes. Kim and Kroy allegedly did not pay in 2013, 2017, and 2018.  The reality stars also reportedly owe the state of Georgia $15,000 in unpaid taxes from 2018.

Back in February, reports started coming out about the couple’s home in George entering “foreclosure.” However, that same month, Kim took to social media to boast about her ornate living room, complete with a dazzling chandelier – despite it being in reported foreclosure.

“This is definitely one of my most favorite rooms, called the Hollywood room,’ the mother-of-six said in an Instagram video, which panned around her house.  She continued: “That chandelier is seven — almost eight-feet wide, by seven-feet high.”

Her daughters also spoke with TMZ to deny rumors about their house: “Don’t believe everything you hear,” Ariana, 21, told TMZ. “Everything is still there. We all live there.” Brielle, 25, also claimed that there is a big “misunderstanding” about the news. “[We have] gone through this already in November,” she told the outlet.

Kim nor Kory have not yet spoken to clarify or deny these reports. Until then, here’s how social media is reacting:
