Kim Kardashian Tested Positive For COVID, Denies Contracting Virus From Controversial Birthday Trip
During Thursday’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which was filmed last November, Kim Kardashian revealed that her 5-year-old son Saint, had contracted COVID and it later spread to her and her daughter North, who turns 8 next month. Kim, 40, also shares son Psalm, 2, and daughter Chicago, 3, with ex Kanye West, who also contracted COVID-19 earlier in 2020.
Kim was in the middle of studying for her baby bar when she found out that she and North had also tested positive for the virus. “I’m feeling pretty s—–,” she said in her confessional. “North and I kept feeling really sick, and we took tests right before I went to bed and when I woke up in the morning the tests came back positive. We’re supposed to do 12-hour study sessions every single day leading up until the test, and I’ve just been feeling so sick and so just awful with COVID that I can hardly even get out of bed and study.” Despite that, Kim was determined to push through so she could study for her exam.
Now, after the episode, BuzzFeed News shared a report that seemed to prove Kim came down with coronavirus after her controversial 40th birthday vacation, but the reality star quickly shut the report down: “False. Nobody caught Covid from the trip. Saint was the first to have it in our family and he caught it from school from another student who tested positive first,” Kim tweeted. “I then developed symptoms and got it a few days after he coughed on me while caring for him.”
Thankfully, everyone in the fam recovered, but it seems Kim failed on take 2 of the test. However, earlier this week, she said she was studying to take it again.
