Kim Kardashian is determined to keep her youthful appearance — even if it means eating poop every day to retain it. The 41-year-old reality star gave an interview to The New York Times as part of a promotional campaign in support of her latest business venture, her upcoming skincare line SKKN. Ingredients listed in the carefully formulated nine products include vitamin C, niacinamide, squalene, and shea butter, just to name a few. But Kim certainly wouldn’t limit herself to only using items from her SKKN brand if there were other ways to keep herself looking radiant and young.
“If you told me that I literally had to eat poop every single day and I would look younger, I might,” Kim quipped to the publication. “I just might.” Further in her chat, the mother-of-four also explained the reason behind the relatively high prices she intends on charging her impressionable fans, with a full nine-piece SKKN set costing a whopping $630, which Kim claims is simply down to ensuring the utmost quality. “The products I was using that were comparable were way more expensive, not to compare anything,” she continued.
She recalled trying to get the best quality for the best price, particularly her vitamin C serum, but in the end, Kim opted to make sure that the items sold under her latest company were made with top-notch ingredients which simply couldn’t be priced any cheaper for that reason. In a press release, the TV personality detailed her decision in wanting to focus her attention on skincare, shedding light on her ongoing battle with psoriasis and how her condition fueled her love of finding gaps in the beauty market.
“I have carried this same drive and approach with me into creating a legacy skin-care brand,” she said. “What began as a psoriasis diagnosis became the catalyst for my journey of skin-care discoveries, inspiring me to learn more about my skin and how to care for it. Working with some of the top dermatologists and estheticians over the years has given me the incredible opportunity to learn from their expertise, and I knew I had to share my learnings.”
Elsewhere, Kim’s lawyer Shawn Holley filed a protective order against a man who had allegedly sent multiple death threats to her LA home, some of which even mentioned killing her boyfriend Pete Davidson, whom she has been dating since October. More than 50 letters are said to have been sent to both Kim’s family house and business office, leading her to seek a restraining order, with a judge having granted her a temporary arrangement, per The Blast, until a hearing takes place for a long-term hold.
