Kim Kardashian Says She Felt ‘Guilty’ Over Kanye West’s Antisemitic Comments

Kim Kardashian is opening up about how she felt “guilty” when her ex-husband Kanye West was dropped by several brands after making antisemitic comments on social media awhile back.

During a new episode of The Kardashians, Kim was having a conversation with his sister Khloe about Ye’s backlash and revealed she didn’t talk to him about it because he would “probably go off” on her. “I feel guilty that I like, posted something in support of the Jewish community, then people dropped him today? And I’m like, ‘Is that my fault that like, I posted that? And did that like, push them, and I should have just kept quiet?'” Kim told her sister. “But I’m vocal about everything else, and it’s like, I never know what to do.”

Kim said on Thursday’s episode that she didn’t want to be “a part of a downfall for the father of my kids,” and found the entire situation “sad.” In a confessional earlier in the episode Khloe expressed how she felt bad for Kim. “I’m heartbroken seeing Kim in so much pain,” Khloé said. “I wish I could do something. It’s such a helpless feeling. ‘Cause me watching Ye is like watching a car crash in slow motion.”

Back in October Ye posted on social media that, among other things, he planned to go “death con 3 on Jewish people.” This was followed by an appearance on Revolt TV’s “Drink Champs” talk show where he went on an antisemitic rant. He also said claimed George Floyd died from fentanyl instead of being killed by a police officer who actually kneeled on his neck for nearly nine minutes.

Following West’s comments, a picture that went viral online showed a banner that was hung by a white supremacist group above the 405 freeway in Los Angeles reading “Kanye is right about the Jews.”

It didn’t take long for people online to react with major companies quickly ending their deals and partnership with the designer.

Not only has Ye been dropped as a client by CAA, a completed documentary about the rapper from MRC has also been shelved. According to The New York Times, Def Jam has also shared that Ye’s imprint, G.O.O.D. Music, is no longer affiliated with the label giant. On top of all that Kanye has been let go Balenciaga. Twitter and Instagram has even blocked him over antisemitic remarks.

Although Kanye has apologized for “hurting” people, he previously said he does not regret what he said.
