Kim Kardashian Is Officially A Billionaire!
Socialites, join us in congratulating Kim Kardashian who is now officially a billionaire, according to Forbes.
The reality star and beauty mogul joined the World’s Billionaires list for the first time this Tuesday as Forbes estimates that Kardashian West is now worth $1 billion, up from $780 million in October, thanks to two lucrative businesses—KKW Beauty and Skims — this in addition to the money she raked in from reality television and endorsement deals, and a number of smaller investments.
As we previously reported, the superstar launched KKW Beauty back in 2017. After much success, Kardashian, 40, went on to sell 20 percent of KKW Beauty to Coty for $200 million, which put the value of her company at $1 billion. Kim dropped her shapewear line back in 2019, which has also been a success. Forbes estimates her Skims stake is worth a conservative $225 million, enough to lift her fortune to $1 billion.
Forbes list of new billionaires also includes 45-year-old Chen Zhiping (worth $15.9 billion), who is chairman and CEO of vaping device-maker Smoore International, and Kate Wang ($5 billion), CEO of Chinese vaping company RLX Technology. As the news site notes, at 39, she is one of the world’s youngest self-made female billionaire.
