Despite Kanye’s pleas to get back with him during the Larry Hoover benefit concert, Kim Kardashian is moving forward with the divorce and has filed to be legally single.

The legal documents were filed in court on Friday and Kim will officially be declared single if a judge signs off on the paperwork. Kardashian has asked a judge to separate all issues of child custody and property from her marital status and she wants to drop Kanye’s last name. According to TMZ, there will be no dispute over child custody as the former couple agreed to joint custody and co-parenting.
Hours before the filing, Kim attended the benefit concert with their children, Saint and North, so they could support Kanye during the event.

Last week, Kanye and Kim attended Virgil Abloh’s last Louis Vuitton show in honor of his sudden passing and attended his funeral earlier this week. As previously reported, Kanye West released a five-minute video on Thanksgiving making a confession about the times he embarassed his estranged wife.
