In an emotional new interview with @AngieMartinez, Kim Kardashian breaks down as she explains how she tries to stay positive in the middle of Kanye’s controversies… for the sake of their kids.
During the “Angie Martinez IRL” podcast the reality star revealed that her four children know nothing about all the negative things that have been said about their famous dad who has been making headlines over his anti-semitic and anti-Black remarks. She told Martinez that she goes above and beyond to block out certain content on their devices at home so they wouldn’t see anything wild about Ye.
Kim goes on to explain that as much as she wants to disassociate herself from that side of Kanye, she feels like she has a job to protect him at times. She went on to say through tears that one day when she has that talk with her kids, they will thank her for not ever bashing him.

“So in my home, my kids don’t anything that goes on in the outside world and I’ve managed to- I’m holding on by a thread and I know I’m so close to that not happening, but while it’s still that way, I will protect that to the end of the Earth as long as I can.” She continues,
“My kids, they don’t know anything,’ adding that her ‘best friends’ are teachers at her children’s school so she’s aware of conversations her kids are having during recess. “None of the [other] kids have ever said anything to my kids,” she revealed.
“When stuff’s going down I protect stuff as far as the TVs and the content that’s on. It is [a fulltime job].”
“I had the best dad. I don’t want to get emotional. It has just been a day for me,” she said before letting our tears. “It’s hard. S*** like co-parenting it’s really f***ing hard you know.” She continued, “I had the best dad and I had the best memories and the greatest experience and that’s all I want for my kids. As long as they can have that, that’s what I would want for them, you know.”
“So like if they don’t know things that are being said or what’s happening in the world like why would I ever bring that energy to them. You know, that’s like real heavy, heavy grown up s***. That they are not ready to, like, deal with.”

Kim and Kanye finally settled their divorce terms last mont. Per the agreement, a draft of which was obtained by CNN, Kardashian will receive $200,000 per month in child support and share joint custody of their four children.
