Kim Kardashian was brought to tears after learning she had passed her baby bar test, having failed the law exam two times in the past. The 41-year-old found out about the joyful news in the latest episode of The Kardashians, which was made available for streaming last night, chronicling the tear-jerking moment when the Skims founder was informed about her results.

Fans who’ve been watching the latest season of the show would know that Kim had been studying for her bar exam since the early episodes of the series, stressing that if she didn’t pass her third time around, she would not be eligible to retake the test. The daunting thought of not hearing some good news once the test results were in seemed to weigh heavy on the mother-of-four, but it appeared she had nothing to worry about. The reality star was out for dinner at Red Lobster with daughter North West, KKW Beauty chief marketing officer Tracy Romulus and her daughters Ryan and Remi, when Kim found out that her results were in.

Kim decided to ditch the restaurant and hop back into her car because, as she revealed in her confessional, “I go in the car because if I’m upset I don’t want to have everyone stare.” The socialite anxiously signed in to the app on her iPhone to find out whether she would be celebrating or leaving in disappointment, but after a moment of silence, Kim uncovered she had indeed passed the baby bar and the entire car broke out in cheers. “Is this real? I’m so happy. Like, I literally didn’t think I did,” she gushed before breaking down in tears as North climbed up from behind to hug her mother.

Not long after did Kim decide to give her professor Chuck Schonholtz a call to tell him about the thrilling news, further emphasizing to him that she happened to get the good news while out to dinner at Red Lobster. “I’m at Red Lobster! North won her first basketball game ever and we came to Red Lobster and I’m in the car,” she cheeringly said before Chuck heaps praise on the TV star.

Also in the episode, Kim was hysterical after speaking with death row inmate Brandon Bernard, who was executed in December 2020 after being convicted for the 1999 robbery, kidnapping, and murder of Todd Bagley and Stacie Bagley. “First thing that they’ll do is push me in that chair, and I don’t want to be panicking and stuff so they have to give me some kind of shot,” Brandon was heard telling an inconsolable Kim.

“The fact that he was the one who tried to calm me down from crying broke my heart,” she said in her confessional. “He was executed. We weren’t able to stop it. But this is why I do what I do, because the system is so broken. The death penalty is so inhumane. I have to fight harder to make sure this doesn’t happen to someone else.
