Kim Kardashian revealed in an interview that she wants to avoid making the same mistakes while dating almost a year after her breakup with Pete Davidson.

On the latest episode of “On Purpose With Jay Shetty,” the mogul revealed her current views on dating and said she’s open to dating again. “I think I’ll always be a hopeless romantic and always want to be in love and definitely love sharing my life with someone and love creating a life with someone,” Kardashian explained. However, she added that she wants to take her time regarding dating due to many factors, especially with her four children, as reported by Too Fab.
“If I can look at everything that I did wrong and try to not make the same mistakes and really take my time, I think it just has to be different for me. It’s obviously such a hard place to be in because how do you go about it?”
A brief history of Kim Kardashian’s dating life
Kardashian’s first serious relationship was with Damon Thomas, a music producer. They married in 2000 when Kardashian was 19 years old and divorced in 2003. After her divorce, Kardashian dated several other men, including Nick Lachey, Nick Cannon, and Reggie Bush. She also had a brief fling with Ray J, who she later starred in a sex tape with.
In 2011, Kardashian married NBA player Kris Humphries. The wedding was a lavish affair that was televised on E!. However, the marriage only lasted 72 days, and Kardashian filed for divorce in October 2011.
In 2012, Kardashian began dating rapper Kanye West. They were married in 2014 in a lavish ceremony in Florence, Italy. The couple has four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. In 2021, Kardashian filed for divorce from West after six years of marriage. The divorce was finalized in 2022.
She briefly dated Pete Davidson in April 2022, and the former couple amicably split in August, citing the long distance and conflicting schedules.
The mother of four also reflected on her struggles as a single parent and said she cries herself to sleep sometimes.
“You know, with all the moods and the personalities, and sometimes they’re fighting, and you know, there’s no one there. Like, it’s [just] me to play good police officer and bad cop.”
However, she said that you’re never prepared as a parent, but it is the most fulfilling job in the world.
“It is the most rewarding job in the entire world. It is. There is nothing that can prepare you. I don’t care how long you wait. I don’t care what you’re waiting for. You are never prepared. But you will figure it out, and it will make you so proud of yourself that you figured it out and that you got through the day.”
