Kim and Khloe Kardashian Address ‘Ridiculous Rumors’ About CGI, Body Editing

The Kardashian family are always being called out for “photoshop fails” but the famous sisters find these new CGI and body editing rumors to be ridiculous and slightly funny.

On an episode of The Kardashians on Hulu, Scott Disick brought up all the online commotion about the series and claims that Kim Kardashian has been using CGI to create fake tears during emotional scenes. In response, Kim, 42, and Khloé, 39, laughed off the comments.

“I thought it was funny because when I saw that viral video [about Kim using CGI tears], you are touching [in other spots on your face] and your tear was perfectly centered. You just missed it,” the Good American cofounder said about the origin of a popular theory. “The fact that anyone thinks we are adding CGI tears somewhere — no one is CGI-ing nothing.”

“Who would CGI a tear? I could not believe that,” Kim said. “It is definitely not a CGI tear. Isn’t that expensive?”

As for all the body editing, Khloé brought up rumors that she has “fake” fingertips during her scenes.

“I was holding a glass on camera and before I type it in [online it comes up]. Fake fingers, fake tan, fake fertility issues,” she told Scott, 40, and Kim while reading search results about herself. “I do not have fake fingers — this looks crazy. These are just my hands.”

During her confessional, she went on to share a message to folks who continue to accuse her of doing such a thing:

“Leave me alone. You guys have been f—king nitpicking me since I have been on TV. Now we are onto my hands. Well, let me clear this up for everyone. No, I don’t wear fake fingertips. This is the length of my fingers,” Khloé quipped before sticking up her middle fingers.

More On Editing

Now Kim has admitted to editing her pics in the past but not in the way some fans have reverently accused her of doing.

In 2022, Kim Kardashian finally spoke out and explained the truth behind the Photoshop controversy involving her nieces True Thompson and Stormi Webster.

As we previously reported, social media slammed Kim after fans noticed she photoshopped her nieces Stormi Webster and True Thompsons in her Disney Land photos. She said at the time, “Ok guys I do have a Photoshop confession while we are safe here in the circle in the truth,” Kim wrote. “OK OK sooooo you know I am all about my aesthetic! And my IG grid is pink and blue lately. Isn’t it so cute and well planned out!”

“The original pics were Stormi! However, I asked Kylie Jenner if I could post them and she said she wasn’t really feeling posting at the moment and so I respect that! But it wasn’t going to mess up my IG feed. Chi was wearing pink and it matched perfectly.”

She added: “You know how much a good aesthetic means to my soul and I will be damned if Kylie will ruin that for me and mess up my IG grid. So thank you True for taking one for the team!
