What was supposed to be a cool set for Kid Cudi turned out to be an unfortunate one for the rapper.
The headliner left the stage mid-set after being bombarded by objects thrown by audience members. Footage posted online initially showed Cudi being hit in the head with what appears to be a water bottle while performing. The entertainer is later seen furious and threatened to walk off the stage. “I will fucking leave. If I get hit with one more fucking thing — if I see one more fucking thing on this fucking stage, I’m leaving,” he said. “Don’t fuck with me.” He eventually walked off stage as more items were being thrown at him.
To make matters worse, Cudi who is reportedly not on good terms with Kanye, had fans chanting “west” as he left the stage. Kanye, who initially dropped out, then made a surprise appearance with Lil Durk, which made the crowd go wild.

Why are Ye and Cudi Not On Good Terms Right Now?
The two rappers had a public falling out back in February when Ye slammed Cudi for being friends with Pete Davidson., the SNL star who is currently dating his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. Kanye said at the time, “Just so everyone knows Cudi will not be on Donda because he’s friends with you know who,” West wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post.
Cudi responded by calling West a “dinosaur.” However, he then later accused West of lying in a series of tweets. “God opens the door so the wrong people can exit ur life,” he wrote on Twitter.
