Khloe Kardashian is a sucker for love, and by the look of things, it seems as if she’s still not over her ex Tristan Thompson. While fans are probably wondering what else the NBA star would have to do for Khloe to realize the pair simply aren’t compatible with one another, sources tell Page Six that despite welcoming a child outside of his relationship with the Good American founder in 2021, Khloe “still loves” her on-again, off-again beau.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that Khloe is currently expecting a second child with Tristan via surrogate, who had conceived through IVF in November, just one month before Maralee Nichols claimed she, too, was expecting a baby by the Chicago Bulls athlete. And regardless of what’s transpired in the past, sources say Khloe is not giving up on her relationship with Tristan just yet. “Khloé still loves Tristan, she is fixed on redeeming him, and nothing would shock me if they got back together again,” the source said.

“This is really why the family is not shunning Tristan. They’re standing by Khloé, of course. The Kardashians always stick together.” The publication explains how Khloe was devastated by the shocking news Tristan had fathered a boy named Theo in December with Maralee, whom he had been sleeping with while still coupled up with the former “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star.
And if that wasn’t bad enough, Tristan had made no mention of the love child, leaving Khloe in the dark about the matter until Maralee broke her silence because Tristan had refused to acknowledge her pregnancy, insisting that the baby wasn’t his.
Last month, it was reported via The Sun that while Theo is now eight months old, Tristan allegedly hasn’t made any effort in seeing the little boy, giving the impression that he doesn’t want anything to do with the baby, which has consequently left Maralee to raise the child on her own.
Maralee has already filed court documents requesting that Tristan starts paying child support payments in the amount of $47,424, a sum which the basketball star has tried to avoid having to give the mother of his child on a month-to-month basis.

New York marriage lawyer Morghan Leia Richardson tells Hollywood Life that Tristan, even if he tries to dodge child support payments, will be met with a hefty amount of back payments that will have to be made to Maralee sooner or later. After all, Theo is his biological son, and he’ll have to take responsibility as a father — even if that’s just to provide for him financially.
“In looking at a support award, the court will review both parents’ monthly incomes, and the amount of time that the child spends with each parent,” they gushed. “All income, including money/wages, tips, commissions, bonuses, unemployment benefits, interest income, dividend income, rental income, insurance payouts – all of it is fair game for calculating child support.
“For awards where the parties earn extremely high incomes, such as Tristian, the court will plug the numbers into the support calculator, but also consider several other factors.”
