During an emotional reunion with ex-husband Lamar Odom, Khloé Kardashian alleges to him that his father wanted to “pull the plug” after his 2015 overdose.
The claim was revealed on the latest episode of ‘The Kardashians’ on Hulu. Khloé Kardashian came face-to-face with her ex-husband, former NBA star Lamar Odom. The emotional reunion marked the first time they had connected since their 2016 divorce.
Kardashian and Odom were joined by the reality star’s best friend Malika Haqq. Together, they all sit down for an awkward, emotional, and healing reunion. During their conversation, the couple recall Odom’s near-fatal overdose from nine years ago.

While speaking on Lamar Odom’s overdose, which led to a three-day coma, Khloé Kardashian recalls all the circumstances surrounding his 2015 hospital recovery — including his late father Joe Odom’s alleged decisions. In 2021, Joe passed away. Although the two had their ups and downs, the former NBA star regularly maintains they had love for each other.
And now, Khloé Kardashian’s revelation proves the two had a strain on their relationship. On the new ‘Kardashians’ episode, the reality star tells her ex, “I was there when your father said, ‘Pull the plug so he can be on your life insurance.’”

Kardashian, also said that it was her family that was supporting him. She says joining her was her sister Kim Kardashian and mother Kris Jenner who stood by Odom’s side in the hospital. She adds, “Then I was there when you had six heart attacks, 12 strokes.”
Khloé Kardashian continues to tell Lamar Odom, “I was there through it all. I didn’t leave you for four months. I got a staph infection because I lived in a hospital.” Kardashian, who was married to Lamar from 2009 to 2016, also tells Odom that his Los Angeles Lakers teammate Kobe Bryant visited him in the hospital. She recalls, “[He] walked in when we had to do a lung surgery on you.”
Eventually, Kardashian revealed that she ended their marriage to protect her peace, especially after he relapsed a year after his near-fatal overdose. She says that was the moment that crushed her. She also remembers punching Odom in the face and “shattering everything in the house” out of frustration and heartbreak.
