Khloé Kardashian recently revealed her relief as Tristan Thompson geared up to make his return to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
In the season 5 premiere of The Kardashians, Khloé compared Tristan to a “bird flying the nest,” voicing her wish that he wouldn’t come back to Los Angeles anytime soon. Tristan had conflicting emotions about leaving his brother Amari behind, whereas Khloé stood her ground on the importance of having space. She looked back on the overwhelming time when Tristan stayed temporarily with her and admitted to feeling a sense of relief when he eventually left.
“I’m not doing anything special. I’m not doing anything different,” she said. “But I just want to be in the moment more, I want to put my energy into things that make me happy.” She continued, “The move in and all of these changes was still just so overwhelming for me,” she told cameras. “Now that he’s going to Cleveland, I can imagine I’ll just feel a relief. I don’t care who it is, I need space.”
In the episode Tristan and Khloe were chilling in the house and that’s when Tristan seemingly began to flirt with her. “We’re a great dynamic duo, like peanut butter and jelly. Fire and ice. Salt and pepper. Batman and Robin,” he told Khloe.
While rolling her eyes in a confessional, Khloe said, “Come on. You know where I stand.”

“Sometimes I hate how much I have to think and be on guard to not do anything that might ever give a glimmer than there’s hope,” she added, before saying of her exes, “They just don’t leave, even when you ask them to, they just keep staying. It’s never gonna end.”
