Khloe Kardashian hit back at people who said she looked “messy” at the “People’s Choice Awards” when she and momager Kris Jenner accepted the award for Best Reality Show of 2022 on Tuesday. The latter actually appeared on stage by herself at first because Khloe was nowhere to be found when Hulu’s “The Kardashians” had been read out as the winner.
Moments later, the 38-year-old Good American co-founder rushed to the stage to join Kris, with her hair looking somewhat disheveled as she told the studio audience how she was backstage trying to fix her tresses. “I’m so sorry, I am out of breath. I was trying to fix my hair,” she said. “Thank you so, so much to everyone who voted for me, for our family. My mom probably voted for all of us.” Following the show, Khloe hopped onto her Instagram Story as she headed home from the PCAs and addressed the mishap, explaining why her appearance may have looked a little unkempt.
“My outfit — the whole zipper popped open so I’m sewn into my outfit. I had to pee so we had to cut the stitching out and sow me back in. My hair, it is a disaster, but that’s okay, champagne problems, but that’s okay.” She then followed up with another Story showing her brunette locks looking uncluttered. “I don’t know what happened on stage. My hair was f****d up […] I looked like a freak, but you know, champagne f*****g problems.”
People on Reddit were extra critical on the site as they reacted to Khloe’s look at the awards show, wondering why she didn’t look her usual best before getting on stage to accept her prize. “what’s up with khloes messy hair?? although everything is off with both of them…” one person questioned.
Another Reddit user echoed similar words, adding, “Why are Kris’s hands balled up like she’s in the ring? Neither of them look good! Khloe’s hair is a hairspray fiasco and Kris’s dress fluff is an inch from showing nip!!! Omg I’m sorry but what in the ru Paul’s drag race IS THIS.”

This was followed by someone writing, “Khloes makeup look is not good here, her hair always looks amazing and her makeup so so ugly lol. Khloe is starting to look like cat lady.” But it wasn’t all bad for the TV personality, who also received a heap of praise for still accepting her award and giving a speech even though she may not have been looking her best in that moment.
