Khloé Kardashian Explains Why She Corrects People Who Call Her 3-Year-Old Daughter True ‘Big’

In a cover story for Health Magazine, Khloe Kardashian talks about how she prioritizes her mental and physical health to be a good mom and a great example to her daughter True Thompson.

While talking about parenting her baby girl, Khloe shared how she doesn’t want her 3-year-old to face the same struggles and insecurities that she did when she was younger. “When it comes to food — I had so many issues. It wasn’t from one person, I guess just from society or how people critiqued my body.” With that said, Khloe went on to explain that she does not “play when it comes to True.”

She told the magazine how she even corrects people when they refer to her daughter as “big.” “She’s very tall. People will always say, ‘She’s so big.’ And I’ll say, ‘Oh, she’s so tall.’ I try to make them be more descriptive. I know what an adult means when they say that, but I don’t want her to misinterpret that.”

More into the interview, Khloe talks about her old “unhealthy relationship with food.” She admitted that she was an “emotional eater” growing up and it ultimately made her feel unhappy.

“When I was younger and was sad, I would eat – I was an emotional eater. And then I hated the way I felt after that. I was almost punishing myself for binging or having a bag of chips – it just became so much thought,” she recalled.

However, as she got older, Kardashian said she began “practicing healthy habits on a daily basis.” “I have to think of it as a lifestyle rather than thinking I want to try this diet or some other thing someone was talking about. I’m so over that stage in my life. It’s cliché, but it’s all about mind, body, and soul,” she explained.
