While commenting on her emotional reunion with ex-husband Lamar Odom, Khloé Kardashian admits he was the “right person, wrong time.”
During the latest episode of ‘The Kardashians’ on Hulu, the reality star came face-to-face with her former NBA star ex-husband. The emotional reunion marked the first time they had connected since their 2016 divorce.
Kardashian and Odom, joined by the reality star’s best friend Malika Haqq, sit down for an awkward, emotional, and healing reunion. During their conversation, Kardashian pulls out some sentimental jewelry and belongings of Odom that she had unknowingly held onto. While reacting to the emotional episode, a user on TikTok posted a tearful video.
The TikTok user captioned her post:
“Why was this reunion so hard to watch? 9 years no contact. The flashbacks. His stuff Khloé kept for years. ‘I love you for trying so hard with me,’ he says. You can tell he still loves her and regrets not having a family with her. This is literal proof of right person, wrong time. I’m GUTTED RIGHT NOW.”

Kardashian ended up responding to the fan and replied under her tearful video. She said:
“Right person, wrong time for sure. 🥺So much of the ‘what ifs’ play. This meeting was hard for us both. Maybe in different ways. 🥺 Thank you for watching.”
During this same episode and sit-down, Kardashian and Odom recall his 2015 near-fatal overdose. The former couple mention the moments leading up to tragedy.
Kardashian reminds her ex that it was her family, including sister Kim Kardashian and mother Kris Jenner, that was there for him, not his family. She even alleges that his father, Joe Odom, wanted to “pull the plug” on him so that he could collect his life insurance benefits. Kardashian says:
“I was there when your father said, ‘Pull the plug so he can be on your life insurance.’ Then I was there when you had six heart attacks, 12 strokes. I was there through it all. I didn’t leave you for four months. I got a staph infection because I lived in a hospital.”
