Beyonce’s new album “Renaissance” continues to make headlines, with Khia now weighing in on her thoughts about the project, which she has described as “devil-worshipping music.” Her two-minute tirade was shared on Twitter by celebrity blogger itsKenBarbie, where the “Yum Yum Sauce” rapper is heard asking whether Bey is “trying to put a spell on everybody, including the children, with this tired a** album?”

“We’ve been in lockdown for three damn years, and this all you can come up with? […] We the people say you better go kill another goat ‘cause this isn’t working,” Khia added as she struck her gavel repeatedly on her hardwood sound block. “If y’all don’t see the devil is outside and in disguise living through Beyonce, I don’t know.”

But it didn’t end there. Khia’s foul-mouthed rant continued with a few words about Bey’s husband, Jay-Z, saying he “must’ve just left you in the studio by yourself with no guidance so he can go f*** on them other h***”

The 45-year-old also touched on the sample drama involving Kelis, who shared her frustration about finding out her 2003 hit “Milkshake” had been used on Beyonce’s track “Energy” without ever being contacted for her blessing.

On Wednesday, it was confirmed that Beyonce had taken action by removing the interpolation of Kelis’ hit from her album. The changes were applied to Apple Music and Tidal by midnight, with Spotify and other streaming platforms expected to receive the update shortly.

For clarification, “Milkshake” was written by The Neptunes’ Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo, with Kelis credited as the performer. And while the mother-of-two acknowledged that she doesn’t own the masters to the song, she was upset that there wasn’t even a heads up from Bey or her team about including interpolation on her album.

“It’s not a collab it’s theft,” the “Bossy” singer said in an Instagram video. “My mind is blown too because the level and disrespect and utter ignorance of all 3 parties involved is astounding. I heard about this the same way everyone else did. Nothing is ever as it seems, some of the people in this business have no soul or integrity and they have everyone fooled.”

Kelis has previously told The Guardian in 2020 that she was “lied to and tricked” after initially agreeing with Chad and Pharrell to split the money from her first two albums, with each person receiving 33%. Being young and “too stupid to double-check” contracts when she started in the music industry had undoubtedly left Kelis angered, particularly as Pharrell was looked upon as a friend at the time they first began working together.
